- Monitoring and measuring the environment and conducting continuous follow-up for environment awareness.
- Setting a comprehensive plan for facing environment crises and taking the necessaing measures for facing them at the era of war and peace in coordination with the concerned authorities.
- Setting an integrated training plan for training local candidates on the methods applicable in protecting the environment.
- Supporting environment services in the community in coordination and cooperation with the concerned authorities.
- Giving opinion and advice on environmental revenues for basic development projects before stating their implementation.
- Studying environment reports on environmental conditions; taking the necessary steps and making an annual report on the environmental condition in Kuwait.
