The Environmental Public Authority of Kuwait (EPA) recognizes its' responsibility towards the environment, and issues this policy as a statement of management and employee commitment to minimizing the environmental impact of its' business activities. In order to ensure effective management of its' activities, products and services that have the potential to affect the environment, the EPA commits it self to:

• Being aware of how its activities , products and services impact upon the environment, and compliance with relevant environmental legislation, regulations and other requirements to which it subscribe.
• Continual improvement of it's environmental performance by building environmental considerations into its' decision making processes and methods of operation, to minimize environmental impact and prevent pollution.
• Setting and publishing a clear set of environmental objectives and targets to ensure continual improvement in it's environmental performance and to monitor results to ensure that these targets are met.
• Ensuring that all EPA activities, products and services, giving rise to significant environmental impacts, at all sites are all covered by this policy and that the policy is implemented maintained and communicated to all employees.
• Communicating this policy and environmental objectives to it's customers and all other interested parties.
• Requiring its suppliers and contractors to have proper regards to EPA's Environmental Policy in respect to the products and services they individually provide.

EPA will review this policy annually.
